Between Noto and Marzamemi, in the deep south east, we take you to the discovery of a real naturalistic paradise, the Natural Oasis of Vendicari. Situated between Noto and Marzamemi, this 8km long coastal reserve offers an incredible concentration of pristine nature, from the most beautiful golden beaches in Italy, to a wetland made up of pans and salt pans where pink flamingos nest and finally an archaeological area of great historical value.
All this makes Vendicari an ideal half for outdoor activities, such as a soft trekking, accompanied by our guides you can walk along its different paths discovering the archaeological area of the reserve, the naturalistic area between the coastal zone and the wet zone, up to the famous trapnara of Vendicari industrial architectural monument of the 1800s and the tower Sveva fortress of 1400 located in the north arm of the bay of Vendicari.
The naturalistic itinerary winds through the Mediterranean vegetation, the dunal area where along its beaches lays its eggs the turtle caretta caretta and the wonderful wetland in which are found the various marshes where live hundreds of species of birds including the very admirable pink flamingo that nests in these places just a step from the sea.
